Audio launch of Powrnami Naagam
Kannan who directed the thriller film Yaar is now directing a film titled Powrnami Naagam which is based on snakes. Glamour queen Mumaith Khan is donning dual roles. Karunas is also doing an important role in this film. The audio CD was released recently at the Film Chamber theatre. Bharathiraja released the audio CD which was received by FEFSI president V C Guganathan. Mumaith Khan participated in this function wearing saree. This surprised everyone.
Sivasakthi Pandian while speaking said,” Nobody has incurred loss while using snakes in the films. If you show a snake in a film, you will really profit from it. Films like Naagam, Manavi Oru Manickam and Neeya which had snakes in the main roles were great success. This film Powrnami Neram will also be a great hit.”
V C Guganathan while speaking said,” Mumaith Khan is a beautiful actress with appropriate vital statistics. I have recently read a book Thamarai Kangal where a character had such beauty like Mumaith Khan. I want to request Mumaith Khan one thing. Don’t increase your salary. Many of the actresses do not participate in the audio launch functions these days. I am really happy that Mumaith Khan has participated in this event.”
Karunas said that initially he was reluctant to touch her during the dance sequences but Mumaith Khan held him tight and encouraged him to dance without any inhibitions.
Many of the other members of the film fraternity also spoke on this occasion including the music composer S A Raj Kumar. Maheswara Reddy, the producer of the film welcomed the gathering while Kannan thanked the gathering at the end for their attendance.
